About Kraig

 Kraig Hagler is a lifelong Greene County resident, proud Republican, and your current Greene County Auditor.

A graduate of Wright State University with a degree in Finance, Kraig built his career in banking and investments before serving as Greene County Treasurer from 2019 to 2024. In that role, he led the office’s largest technology upgrade in decades, restored blighted properties to productive use, and strengthened county finances through smart investment strategies.

In November 2024, Kraig was appointed Greene County Auditor and immediately began the most significant technology modernization since the county moved from paper records. He consolidated departments, streamlined operations, and launched comprehensive staff training programs — all while preparing for three major new property tax reforms that will positively impact every homeowner for years to come.

Kraig currently serves as Executive Chairman of the Greene County Republican Party and is deeply rooted in our community. He and his family operate a hobby farm near Xenia where they raise cattle, keep honeybees, and grow crops. He has served as past President of the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce and the Greene County Council on Aging, and remains active in the community, Masonic Lodge, and 4-H.

Kraig believes in fiscal responsibility, transparent government, and always putting Greene County taxpayers first.
